About Kaitlin Mace
Before I was a photographer, I worked in emergency and trauma in a very busy hospital. I stood in rooms where people held each other like it might be the last time, and often it was. That work changed how I see everything, especially love.
Now I photograph weddings the same way: with urgency and tenderness. I'm not looking for the perfect pose, I'm looking for the way your partner looks at you when you're not paying attention the laughs that come out of nowhere, or the grandmother who held it together all day and finally didn't.
I work with a very small number of couples each year — couples who understand that their wedding photographs are the only thing from that day that will still exist in fifty years.
The couples I work with are not just looking for a photographer, they are looking for someone who is acutely aware of the importance of each moment as it unfolds.
